Ductless Heat Pump Program – For Residential Customers

The Ductless Heat Pump program helps reduce residential customers heating costs and improves their homes. Electric heating costs can be reduced by 25% to 50% plus customers receive the added bonus of air conditioning.

  • Homes (site built or manufactured) with electric baseboard, wall heaters or ceiling cable – Incentive of $800.
  • Homes (site built or manufactured) with forced-air electric furnaces – Incentive of $1,000.

Trained Ductless Heat Pump contractors (Northwest Going Ductless Program Contractors) install the systems and are listed on the Going Ductless web site.

Elmhurst Mutual offers assistance for its single-family home customers with electric resistance heat if they choose to upgrade their heating system and install a ductless heat pump.  To find out more: Assitance for Installing Ductless Heat Pumps.

  • Incentive of $800.00 per ton of installed outdoor unit heating capacity for each
    DHP installed
  • Lower electric costs for smaller commercial buildings
  • Energy-efficient cooling and heating
  • Building requirements to qualify for program incentives include:
  • Currently heated by either zonal or forced air electric resistance heat
  • Installed equipment is on the BPA approved DHP list

Contractors trained through the Northwest Going Ductless program install the systems.
