Reports to: Credit and Customer Service Supervisor


Under the supervision of the Credit and Customer Service Supervisor, provide effective customer service through the performance of a multitude of diverse tasks and duties. Provide accurate and timely data entry required for data processing and computer operations; to perform analysis, interpretation and collection of consumer accounts and to effectively communicate the results to consumers. Receive and contact customers by telephone. Receive customers in person at the EMP&L office.  Provide efficient, accurate and courteous service that will increase satisfaction and promote good will between the EMP&L team and our customers

Gain full knowledge of all areas concerned with customer accounts, including billing, service requests, metering, account adjustments, payment arrangements, deposits, even monthly billing, rates, letter of credit, memberships, ancillary products and services offered by EMP&L.  Additionally, train for, and provide back-up for, the role of Credit and Customer Service Supervisor.

COMPENSATION – $15.56 to $25.09 per hour
