Commercial Lighting Incentives

COMMERCIAL CUSTOMER – LIGHTING PROGRAM INCENTIVES

Since 2009 many of our commercial customers have improved the lighting in their businesses, reduced their controllable operating costs and received INCENTIVES to help offset the cost of retro-fitting their lighting equipment.  In the past four years Elmhurst Mutual Commercial Lighting customers have saved over 1 million kWh.

The program is designed to help reduce electric costs and improve the appearance and efficiency of lighting in commercial facilities. The program offers a FREE analysis of lighting efficiency opportunities and cash incentives to pay for up to 70% of the installed cost for qualified projects.

Electrical contractors, distributors and lighting companies who are members of the Northwest Trade Ally Network for Commercial and Industrial Lighting from the Tacoma area provide installation services and support to complete utility-approved projects. Lighting audits are provided by lighting trade allies and/or program staff to business customers. The analysis provides recommended improvements, estimated costs, incentives and return on investment.

Evergreen Consulting Group manages the program for Elmhurst. Evergreen provides a lighting specialist and program manager to work with utility staff, business customers and installation contractors to implement the program.
