Public Power People – Christi Feeney

We are excited to share that our own Christi Feeney was featured in the Public Power People column of the Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA)’s weekly newsletter. Christi supports all of us in delivering service to our customers, and brings a smile to our faces every day. We are grateful for her support and applaud her successes!

Christi Feeney, Accounting Supervisor, Elmhurst Mutual Power & Light (Parkland, Wash.)

Christi joined Elmhurst Mutual and the public power industry 13 years ago. In her current position, she focuses primarily on all aspects of accounting but also jumps in anywhere else she is needed.

“The best part about this industry is that there is always opportunity to grow professionally,” she said “The opportunity to learn is never ending!”

Outside of work, Christi enjoys adventuring and reveling in the natural beauty of the mountains rainforests, and bodies of water that surround her.

“We just hop in the car, find a town or a trail, and spend the day discovering what’s around us,” she said. “I prefer to adventure near water, which is pretty easy to do in Western Washington.”

She also spends much of her free time watching her kids compete in sporting events from football to horseback riding. Along with her husband and kids, Christi shares her home with 2 “pretty amazing dogs,” who she confessed may be the true bosses of the house.
