Elmhurst held our first in-person annual meeting since COVID the last week of April at Marvel Bay Café. The venue was pretty and comfortable, the food was tasty! Thank you to BSA Troop 282 Gig Harbor, Washington for presenting the colors and leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Greg Huebner from Bonneville Power Administration provided an update on the fall and winter weather impact on our water supply and the spring and summer outlook. The Columbia River Power System generates one third of power consumed in the Pacific Northwest. While the snowpack is well above average across most of the region, moderate to abnormally dry summer months are expected for most of our region. The Northwest Forecast Center predicts our water supply through September will be 86% of normal. Ed Ramos from DP&C Accounting presented the 2022 audited financial statements. Mike Porter from Evergreen Consulting Group presented energy efficiency program results.
Thank you to our Board President, John Costanti, and General Manager, Bryan Bertacchi, for leading the meeting and to all our staff who managed the logistics.
We enjoyed talking with everyone who joined us!
