Elmhurst Mutual has teamed up with the Salvation Army to provide our customers the opportunity to help friends and neighbors with their power bills.

Our Shine a Light program provides emergency financial assistance to qualified, low-income customers struggling to pay their electric bills.   Administered fee-free by the Salvation Army, donations from Elmhurst customers directly benefit families and senior citizens within our service area.  All contributions will be placed in a separate fund and are tax deductible.

If you would like to help others by contributing to the Shine a Light program, please specify the donation amount on your payment stub.  A separate check is not necessary.
